TOWNSHIP COMMUNITY INFORMATION Zorra Now | Winter 2023 33 Miss Supertest The Bob Hayward Story Miss Supertest - The Bob Hayward Story is a go! Auditions have taken place and 14 local people have been cast. This show, which includes much Jazz and 50's music, will take you through Bob's interesting life. Bob Hayward, a chicken farmer from Embro, became an international superstar, as a speedboat pilot, by winning the Hamsworth Cup – three times!! Bob was also a talented mechanic and musician. Come to his hometown of Embro to find out more. The play is written by William Butt; directed by Adam Corrigan Holowitz and Daniel Van Winden; and, produced by Donald Hilborn. Thistle Theatre - Dramarama 2024 Join us at the Embro Town Hall for 10 days of imagination and creativity! Dramarama is our 2-week summer day camp for young people ages 7 to 14. Two sessions will be held in July 2024. A 2-week session at Dramarama is all about creativity and self-expression! Workshops in drama, dance, arts and crafts, and theatre production take place each morning while the afternoon is spent working in small groups to collectively create short plays. Zorra Municipal Office Sold Thank you to The Lori Goldhawk Team for their hard work in quickly selling the Zorra Municipal Office! The Christian Farmers Federation of Ontario will take possession of the office in June 2024. Staff will be moving into the new Zorra Municipal and Child Care Centre at 163 Brock Street in Thamesford.
