TOWNSHIP DEPARTMENT INFORMATION TOWNSHIP DEPARTMENT INFORMATION 14 Zorra Now | Fall 2024 Zorra Now | Fall 2024 15 The Zorra Multi-Use Committee (ZMCC) is closer to their goal than ever! However, due to increased costs, the fundraising goal for this project has increased from $266,000 to $300,000. Committee members Andrew Goodwin, Brenda Carnahan, Kate Lockhart, Julie Riley, Rebecca Ruddy, Libby Wilkinson, and Deputy Mayor Katie Grigg are proud to share that the ZMCC is only $32,000 away from reaching this new goal! The committee has received generous donations from community members that have significantly progressed their fundraising efforts. The committee has also been working hard to bring you great community events to raise awareness and support for this project. Events include: ZMCC’s Beach Volleyball tournament, two Pickleball tournaments, and a Dog Swim. Special thanks to the Thamesford Lions for hosting their Retro Rides and Community Vibes car show in support of the multi-use courts project. We are SO close to reaching our goal. If you were thinking of supporting this project, NOW is the time. We will also be accepting in-kind donations to support the construction of this project.
