TOWNSHIP COMMUNITY INFORMATION TOWNSHIP COMMUNITY INFORMATION 34 Zorra Now | Fall 2024 Zorra Now | Fall 2024 35 Dramarama 2024 Dramarama Campers and Counsellors had an absolute blast last month with a total of 43 creative campers joining us throughout the month of July to make and create their own unique plays that were presented to a full audience of family, friends and community members. Thank you to those that came to support and watch their performances. Our second session campers spent time with Chloe Weir for a vocal workshop and Kristin McNeish for a costuming workshop. Big thanks to them for spending their time and expertise with us. Thanks to the Embro Library for including us in their programming. We were treated with a native gardening workshop by Trash Theatre for our first session and an awesome performance by Doug the Great for our second session. A very big thanks to Bruce MacInnis for the incredibly beneficial musical instruments that he donated to our Dramarama program this year. We greatly appreciate all the donated Halloween costumes and fun props we continue to receive from parents, friends and community members, they are put to great use! Should you have anything you’d like to donate to our program, have questions about becoming a counsellor, or registration, please email dramarama.thistletheatre@gmail.com The splash pad made outside time at the park extra fun and refreshing on those really hot days. We are so thankful it’s a part of our community. Want to join in on the fun? Keep an eye out for Camp Registration Date, EARLY in 2025 so you can join us next year!!
