We want to encourage everyone to learn these skills in a way that is fun and social. We plan to host workshops throughout the year that teach skills related to canning, pie making, cake decorating, knitting, quilting etc. These workshops will be casual and welcoming to beginners. Join our homecraft committee for the Embro Fair! If you are looking for a fun and creative way to be involved in a major community event, the Embro Fair, this is an opportunity for you! The homecraft committee meets 4-5 times a year and is responsible for facilitating the homecraft exhibits at the Embro Fair: the competitions of food, vegetables, kids crafts, photography, sewing, quilting and more. Committee members are responsible for planning out their section throughout the year and being present at the fair for set up and organization of entries. You do not need to be an expert in any subject, everyone is welcome! If you are interested in being a part of this fun group, we would love to have you!
