Hometown Hockey Welcome to the 2025-2026 PJHL hockey season…. featuring 50 years of your Thamesford Trojans!!!! We have had a great start to the season, at the time of this writing we are tied for 1st place in the Yeck division. It is a tight race in this division, with just a couple of points separating the top six teams! This year we have some new players from the immediate surrounding area….Oxford, Perth and Middlesex counties are well represented. These newcomers are fitting right in with our returning players and that combination is making a huge impact. As we prepare to celebrate 50 years of Thamesford hockey in 2026, we have a de icated alumni committee working on several projects in the upcoming months. Jas n Ross has graciously taken on the task of spearheading this group. For more information or to become involved please visit our website at https://thamesfordtrojans.pjhlon . hockeytech.com/alumni. The Trojans hosted a food drive to support local families this holiday season, and are looking forward Trojans Hockey to Hockey Night in T amesf rd in conjunction with Thamesford & Area Minor Hockey Association (TAMHA). We are fortunate and proud to represent such a close-knit community. Friday nights are our home games…….and the Th mesford Are a is the place to be. Next time you attend a home game, check out our new sponsor boards right inside the admission gate. Without our sponsors, we wouldn’t be able to put a team on the ice. Please consider supporting these businesses for your personal needs. Also on the board are detailed profiles of each player. New players are featured each week, so check back often. Thank you to the Thamesford Lions Club for their ongoing support through sponsorship, opening the Canteen and operating the bar at each home game. Hope to see you at a game soon! Thistle Theatre’s next show: “The Mighty Men of Zorra” Just in time for Christmas, tickets are now on sale at Thistle-Theatre.com for our next production called “The Mighty Men of Zorra”. This is the third of a series of unique Zorra based plays written by William Butt focusing on the why and how an historic event occurred. This play, to be held in the Embro Town Hall between Mar 20-29, 2026, leads towards the story of the 1893 World Champions in tug-o-war; however, there are many other contributing events uniquely dramatized along the way. Players from the Thamesford Trojans enjoyed interacting with local youth during Minor Hockey night before the Trojans home game on December 5th. Team members even strapped on their skates and took a few laps with the kids! Many of the kids and their families stayed to watch the Trojans in action as they defeated the Lucan Irish 10-3!
